There are moments in life when the winds pick up, the waves grow higher, and fear begins to overshadow our faith. In those moments, we may wonder if we have what it takes to keep moving forward.

In this week's Gospel, Jesus comes to His disciples walking on the water. When Peter asks to come to Him, Jesus simply says, "Come." Peter steps out of the boat in faith, but when he shifts his focus to the storm, he begins to sink. Even then, Jesus immediately reaches out His hand and lifts him up.

This story is not about having perfect faith. It is about trusting the One who never takes His eyes off of us. Jesus continues to call us forward, even when the journey feels impossible. He invites us to step beyond our fears, knowing that His grace is always greater than the storms we face.

As we continue sharing gentle breezes in the grace of Jesus Christ, may we feel the Spirit encouraging us anew. You can make it. You can answer God's call. You can walk in faith. You can keep your eyes on Jesus, even when the waters become rough, because through it all, Jesus never stops watching over you.
