Oh how He loves you and me
Oh how He loves you and me
He gave His life
What more could He give
Oh how He loves you
Oh how He loves me

“Many Samaritans from the city believed in him because of the woman’s testimony, “He told me everything I have ever done.””
"Have you heard the latest?" "Wow, do I have stuff to tell you!" "I just got to tell you something!"
The news these days can sadly leave us wondering, `what is next?' There is so much information coming our way each day to process, reflect on, act on, share.
Let's take a little break from some of that news, and think about those times we had really good, exciting, and blessed news to share! When was one of those times, that you had some news you just could not wait to tell someone?
This is what the woman at the well had. She had no idea how empty she had been. She had not seen how dry her spirit had become. At first she did not see clearly who was asking her for a drink. She did not behold at first who would fill her with living water. Suddenly, she saw and she knew, and she could not wait to tell!
Behold, you have Good News - do not wait to tell! Behold, you have a story, life-giving water gushing up, a spirit, others cannot wait to hear about, a message of hope and power people these days are longing to hear about! Behold, others want to know the One who knows everything you have ever done! Behold, tell others about the One who gave his life, about the One who loves you and me! God has so much to say, to tell, to announce, to proclaim, to make known. Behold, God is sending you; God is sending you now, likely more than ever before!
Let us pray: Lord, I am sorry I so often keep your Good News to myself. You know everything I have ever done, and you still love me. You gave your life, what more could you give; and I tell no one. By your Spirit, send me out to tell others, "Behold, I am filled anew to overflowing. Behold, I trust anew in these times of great need, life and the living water, are here for us all!" In your name I pray, and I share your Good News. Amen.
