As we continue our summer journey of Sharing Gentle Breezes In The Grace Of Jesus Christ, we are reminded that God's grace comes to us not only in dramatic moments, but also through His steady, healing presence.
In Matthew's Gospel, Jesus calls Matthew to follow Him, shares a meal with those others would reject, heals a woman who had suffered for years, and raises a young girl to new life. Again and again, Jesus brings restoration, hope, and healing wherever He goes. He reminds us that God's mercy is greater than our brokenness and that His grace continues to make us whole.
The readings from Hosea and Romans echo this same promise. God binds up what is wounded, revives what seems lost, and fulfills His promises through faith and grace. Even when life feels uncertain, God's healing touch remains near.
As we gather in worship, may we feel the gentle breeze of God's Spirit moving among us, restoring our hearts, renewing our faith, and reminding us that we are never beyond the reach of His love.
