Today we celebrate, from the mountains, to the valleys, our value, keeps going up, we sing our praises, as we feel the gentle breeze of God’s grace, so we worship in the name of The Father, and of The Son, and of The Holy Spirit.
Amen. I give you thanks, O Lord, with my whole heart. To you alone I bow down. I give thanks and I praise your name for your steadfast love and your faithfulness endure forever.
People of God: Feel the gentle breeze in the miracle of new life. Let us take a moment of silence to confess our sins and those times we have failed to value the treasure of holding close God’s grace alone.

Friends in Christ, the value keeps going up in the grace of these words: Jesus saves; Jesus forgives you all your sins. The Lord's name and word are valued and treasured above all else. God alone is our salvation and hope. God alone purifies our hearts!

At Gibeon the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream by night; and God said, “Ask what I should give you.” And Solomon said, “You have shown great and steadfast love to your servant my father David, because he walked before you in faithfulness, in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart toward you; and you have kept for him this great and steadfast love, and have given him a son to sit on his throne today. As we share gentle breezes of The Spirit this summer, let us share our faith and speak boldly of all we believe, trusting the living breath of The Spirit and God’s saving grace.
I will sing of your steadfast love, O Lord, forever; with my mouth I will proclaim your faithfulness to all generations. I declare that your steadfast love is established forever; your faithfulness is as firm as the heavens. You said, “I have made a covenant with my chosen one, I have sworn to my servant David: ‘I will establish your descendants forever, and build your throne for all generations.’” Let the heavens praise your wonders, O Lord, your faithfulness in the assembly of the holy ones. The Value Keeps Going Up, In Every Gentle Battle
1 KINGS 3:5-12; ROMANS 8:26-39; MATTHEW 13:31-33, 44-52
We are all in search of a good value. While most of us like or look for different things, by in large, what determines something's value are similar. Chances are most of us make our choices by reviewing factors such as quality, service, purpose, uniqueness, cost, and dependability. The Lord today uses the parables to talk about value. Jesus wants to know that his love means not something to us, but everything to us. Jesus wants to know what we value most! Jesus uses items valued during his day to talk about the value of the kingdom of heaven, to tell us God loves and values certain things, too! Our Savior is God's living Word, given to us and the world, because God places incredible value on each of us. Even when we struggle to place real value and significance on God and neighbor and on faith in our life, the gentle breezes of summer come along and the breath of God shows us we are forever priceless!
1. Some factors most people review in determining the value of something.
A. Quality - Is it made right and solid?
B. Service - Will someone fix it? Can I get the help I need?
C. Purpose - Does it get the job done; fill the specified need?
D. Uniqueness- What makes it special; different from anything else?
E. Cost - Are you getting what you paid for?
F. Dependability - Will the owner stand behind it? Does it come with a guarantee?
G. Supply and demand - Is it even desired? Is there enough to go around? Simple economics says supply and demand have to match up on the value curve. If demand exceeds supply, value increases. If supply exceeds demand, value decreases.

3. God values different things; God values things differently than we do.
A. What does God value most? Us, our salvation, our life, our place in the kingdom, our commitment, our devotion, our freedom, our faith and our trust.

B. God invites us to value him more and more.
i. God has incredible quality. Jesus is solid, the Son of God.
ii. God's service record is second to none. Jesus can fix anything, forgive it all, guide us and teach us, and is available at all hours.
iii. God has a purpose and a will to get the job done and to fill our every need!

iv. God is unique, there is no other.
v. God has paid the cost, what he gives us is free of all charges.
Romans 8:32
vi. God is dependable when all else would fail. The Creator and Owner of you stands by you and behind you. Jesus gives us a lifetime and an eternal guarantee.
vii. God's supply will meet our every demand. Jesus has all we need. We let God lose value when we allow our demand and need for him to decrease. In times of our greatest need and demand, we will value him the most. We cannot let our value of him diminish.

C. Trust God created us, values us, treasures us; gave up everything to have us; and will continue to breathe life, value, and revelation into our pneuma and soul. Our truest value, is thanks to The One who forever calls us priceless!

All are welcome.
