BASED ON PSALM 23
Today, we celebrate with all the saints, God sets us apart, and blesses us to be a blessing, to live anew in God’s glory and grace, so we worship in the name of The Father, and of The Son, and of The Holy Spirit.
Amen. The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside still waters; he restores my soul. He leads me in right paths for his name’s sake.
Friends, our God, The Good Shepherd, is a faithful God. In Christ alone our souls are restored, in forgiveness, in hope, in mission, and in the life to come. Let us take a moment of silence with all the saints to confess our sins and those times we have not trusted God’s glory and grace.

Friends who trust The Good and Faithful Shepherd: The pastures are green again; the waters have been made still. While we were sinners, God made us saints. You are resurrected today! Almighty and loving God, today with all the saints, we thank you and praise you; thanks to your abundant blessings, we are blessed to be a blessing, in your grace alone. By your Holy Spirit, you set us apart, you give us faith to believe anew how great Thou art. By your grace and power and presence, shepherd us, resurrect us, set us apart once again in forgiveness, salvation and hope, call us by name, send us into the world to boldly make you and our neighbors first. Faith Quest Meets Today!
Faith Quest takes place during the 9:30 am worship service, September through May. Each week, kids will be dismissed from worship to continue the journey together. New friends are always welcome, and enrollment is open all year long!
Last Sunday our Faith Quest children led us in worship with a beautiful presentation of Linda Kachelmeier’s arrangement of “Peace Begins With a Smile” based on a quote from Mother Teresa. Their voices reminded us of the simple, powerful call to love and serve in Jesus’ name. If you weren’t able to be with us, or if you’d like to watch it again, please take a moment to view the video. We are grateful for our Faith Quest families and leaders who help our children grow in faith, music, and service.

The days are surely coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah. It will not be like the covenant that I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt – a covenant that they broke, though I was their husband, says the Lord. Stating Our Faith in God
THE NICENE CREED
We believe in one God, The Father, The Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God,
eternally begotten of The Father, God from God,
Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made,
of one Being with The Father.
Through him all things were made.
For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven;
by the power of The Holy Spirit he became incarnate
from the virgin Mary, and was made man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered death and was buried. On the third day he rose again
in accordance with the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of The Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead,

How are you at separating things? The good from the bad? The important from the less significant? The behavior from the person? The `you' from the `disciple'? The 'you' from the `sinner,' the `you' from the `saint'? Thanks be to God, God is The One who puts each of us in our proper place, setting us apart, blessing us to be a blessing! As we celebrate All Saints' Sunday, we trust God in Jesus sets apart the sinner within us from the saint he has created and blessed us to forever be!
1. Trust God in grace blesses you and all the saints to be a blessing.
A. Heaven is certain! Grace here and now is certain! You are blessed here, now, to be a blessing here, now!

ii. How are you being called to bless others? Go! Continue!
iii. Trust you are blessed with hope, riches, power. Ephesians 1:18-19

2. God blesses us to be a blessing! God would rather have us as both sinner and saint, than not have us at all. God sets apart the sinner within us from the saint we were created, loved, saved to be. Heaven has been set apart, yet, grace is here and now, for one and all! You are graced and blessed, called and named, here, now, forever and ever!

We also gather to support one another through your Holy Spirit, as we remember the emptiness and the sorrow and the loss we feel because those we love have died.
Today we remember those servants already commended into your care, those lambs of your own flock received in mercy, those saints resting in light. Today we especially remember:(names read)
Lord, today we take a moment of silence to share with you others who we remember in our hearts at this time.

Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom pray, trusting in your mercy, through your Son, Jesus Christ; thanking you for blessing us to be a blessing, for blessing us with the gifts of life, strengthening us, with hope and peace; trusting you in new ways, as our lives continue, as you set us apart, in grace, with all the saints, boldly believing, you are forever with us.

Holy Communion will take place during our service. If you are not worshipping with us in person but would like to receive Communion, we will be offering Drive Through Communion at our building at 16200 Dodd Lane, Lakeville, Minnesota, following our indoor service. Drive Through Communion will be available between 10:15am & 10:30am.
For those worshiping with us in person, we receive communion through intinction; that is, you will receive the bread, the host, then dip into the glass of choice, either a red wine in the chalice closest to the host, or in a light colored non-alcoholic grape juice. All are welcome.
We also offer gluten free and pre-packaged options. Please take these options before arriving at the host to receive a blessing.

The Lord look upon you with favor and give you peace, as you trust you are set apart with all the saints, blessed to be a blessing in the saving grace of Jesus Christ. In the name of The Father, and of The Son, and of The Holy Spirit.
