"Celebrating God's Grace, Alive & Anew, Right Here, In The Risen Christ!"
A most holy and blessed Easter morning to each of you who believe and proclaim, Christ is risen! Christ is risen, indeed! Alleluia! Today's devotion follows just below.
I pray your Easter, your day, and your life today and every day are blessed and surrounded with the hope and grace alive and anew in The Risen Christ!
Today's devotion brings to an end our daily devotions shared throughout our Lenten journey. Thanks be to God for The Spirit in God's grace alone that lives and rises each day in each of us, to return to the Lord our God with all our heart! Indeed, in the Risen Christ, God's grace keeps breaking into our lives, proclaiming and building us up in faith to believe and to be alive, anew, and awakened, in The Risen Christ alone!
While the daily devotions come to an end today, keep watching your email for updates and reminders concerning the mission and ministry we share as God's people at Lord of Life!
May God bless each of you and your loved ones these Great Fifty Days of Easter as the living grace of God raises you up, to be Easter Hearts, alive, anew, and awakened, for Christ is risen, Christ is risen indeed! Alleluia!

Jesus Christ is Risen Today
Arnold
Jesus Christ is ris'n today
Alleluia
Our triumphant holy day
Alleluia
Who did once upon the cross
Alleluia
Suffer to redeem our loss
Alleluia
Hymns of praise then let us sing
Alleluia
Unto Christ our Heav'nly king
Alleluia
Who endured the cross and grave
Alleluia
Sinners to redeem and save
Alleluia
But the pains which he endured
Alleluia
Our salvation have procured
Alleluia
Now above the sky he's king
Alleluia
Where the angels ever sing
Alleluia
“But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid; I know that you are looking for Jesus who was crucified. He is not here. He is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay.””
A blessed and most holy Easter to one and all!
Christ is risen! Christ is risen, indeed! Alleluia!
Our Lenten journey through "seven simple, powerful, renewing words in grace alone," is complete. We have heard Jesus' seven last words on the cross, and once again The Spirit has revealed salvation!
Today, this blessed morn, we are blessed by some of the greatest seven words: "He is not here! He is risen!"
The words of the angel that first Easter morning reveal majesty and mystery, proclaiming the resurrection of our Lord. And yet, do we not look and long for Jesus to be "here"? Is it perhaps troubling to hear, "he is not here"?
Of course, what the angel is saying, is, "Jesus is not here - not in the tomb, not with the dead - Jesus is alive, with the living!"
May you be blessed today, this Easter, through The Great Fifty Days of Easter, all your days with these simple words of power and renewing grace to live by: "He is not there!" (among the dead) "He is here!" Here with us! Here with you! Here, whatever you face, wherever you go, no matter what you have done, in all that needs resurrecting in your life and spirit, breathing new life into you, raising you up!
The women came looking for Jesus that first Easter morning. If you are still looking for the risen Christ, look for the risen Jesus, right where you are, right now, right here!
A happy and most blessed Easter to you and your loved ones!
Let us pray: Risen Christ, I praise you, and thank you, and worship you, and glorify you, for you are alive and in my midst! You, Christ, live to bless me with words of power and grace anew to live by, this blessed day, and each new morning! Awake my soul; awaken me today, awaken me tomorrow and each new day, to see your living presence, right here, for right here with me, is where I need you most. Trusting you are right here with me, is my greatest living hope! In the power and grace of The Risen Christ, I pray, and I live anew. Amen.
