An angel said to them, “Be not afraid; behold, I bring Good News of a great joy which comes to all people; for to you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.”
— Luke 2:7

 Dear Friends of our Savior, Jesus Christ;

As we share and celebrate Advent & Christmas 2025, I thank our faithful God who continues to break forth with tidings of comfort and joy, just as clearly now as when God’s grace was sent to us and the world that first silent night!

Our Advent and Christmas theme, bless us to receive and to trust anew “Tidings Of Comfort And Joy!” Even though we can be afraid, our fears are calmed, we are comforted and reassured, for The Good News of the greatest joy, is forever alive among us, in our Savior who is Christ, The Lord!

Christ is comfort and joy!  In waiting for Christ's promised return, The Holy Spirit sustains and renews the gift of faith to believe `comfort and joy' are here in The One who is here, Emmanuel!

In Christmas, God comes to us, giving comfort and joy!  The One who came to a lonely stable, still comes to us in our loneliness.  The One who sent the shepherds angels, still sends angels to us, to surround and quiet us when we are afraid.  The One who sent a star to the wise men is still our Light in every darkness!

Here are a few ways comfort and joy in Emmanuel are being made known in our midst:

The Presenting Of The Greens, Life Nite, Veterans’ Dinner,
Our Children’s Christmas Program: “`Twas The Evening Of Christmas,”
Our donations and support for “Toys For Town,” & “Toys For Military Families,”
Decorating and all The Sounds Of The Season,
Prayer Shawl Ministry, AV Ministry, Live-Streaming Ministry, Advent Devotions, all who volunteer on every level, and each of you, all who share the
priceless gifts of friendship and community in Jesus Christ, the Lord of all life!

Join us as comfort and joy in Emmanuel come to us and break forth in festive worship:

Festive Christmas Eve Candlelight Worship, Wednesday, December 24, 4 p.m.
Carols, Children’s Sermon, Communion, Candlelight, “One Solitary Life!”
Festive Worship, The First Sunday After Christmas, December 28, 9:30 a.m.
This service includes a blessing on God’s beloved as a new year begins!
Sunday, January 4, 9:30 a.m., Faith Quest, Sunday School resumes!

I hope you, your family, and friends join us for our Advent and Christmas Services!  God “became flesh to live among us;” so `come with all the faithful;’ `go tell it on the mountain’ announcing `joy to the world!’  For those not able to join us, a blessed Emmanuel, a holy Christmas, to you and your loved ones!

Thanks be to God, God blesses me, our ministry, the Kingdom, as we make God and our neighbors first!  I personally thank you; you each are a gift of God’s grace; you touch my life.  In this season of giving, I thank you for your faithful giving and generosity. Remember, you can give online: www.lordoflifemn.org

`Come and adore Him,’ for `The kingdom of God is near.’  `A Child is born!’  `With God all things are possible!'  `Peace on earth. Good will to all!’  `Behold! Your God has come to you!’  God’s perfect gift of comfort and joy has come to you; his name is Jesus!  A blessed Christmas and New Year to all!
