Lord of Life Lutheran Church is an
ELCA congregation serving Farmington, Apple Valley, Lakeville,
Rosemount and the surrounding communities. Lord of Life started in the fall of 1994 to help meet the spiritual needs of people searching for a home church, and to provide a ministry to people moving into the community. Our first service was held in April 1995 and in April 1997, Lord of Life became an organized church of The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Most people find Lord of Life to be a casual, come as you are, accepted for who you are, grow together, give as you are able, lean on each other place where the hope and promise of Jesus Christ are clear. We are committed to hearing and sharing God's promise as God speaks to us, guides us, and inspires us to answer our call of discipleship and mission to make God first in our lives. We have many opportunities
for ministry and fellowship at Lord of Life, and we welcome anyone
willing and able to lend a hand and support our Church, its members and

Beginning in 1994,
Lord of Life has grown to a strong and supportive congregation.
We began to gather together at Akin Road Elementary School in 1995 and
